Here’s the Scoop for What’s Going on in Seattle This Month
March 16- Chef Ethan Stowe of Union, Cook-Off series continues with the Second Chili Challenge, a benefit for the Seattle Children’s Theater. $50 gets you all the chili you can eat and tap beer you can drink. Reservations are recommended, call Union at (206) 838-8000. Participating challengers include chefs Gabe Zaleta (Steelhead Diner), Zach Parini (Union), Jason Chung (Pagliacci Pizza), Jane Hummer (Mangetout Catering) and food enthusiasts Darren Vengroff (winner of the Gumbo Throw-Down), Rocky Yeh, Hans Horchler (Union), Mark Miller, Bill “Oyster Bill” Whitbeck (Taylor Shellfish), and Darryn O’Shea (O-S Winery).
